About¶
NeoAbs is an open-source MkDocs theme that combines glass morphism with a minimal, grid-driven aesthetic. It is built for documentation sites that want to look modern without sacrificing readability.
What it is¶
- A custom theme for MkDocs
- A design system built on CSS custom properties
- A plugin for enhanced glass and animation effects
Design influences¶
NeoAbs draws from two design languages:
Glass -- The translucency, blur, and layering system. NeoAbs adapts this for web documentation using backdrop-filter and semi-transparent backgrounds.
NothingOS -- The dot matrix patterns, geometric typography, and minimal color palette from Nothing's hardware and software identity. NeoAbs borrows the restrained use of color and the grid-based background texture.
